Welcome back friends! Our surviving quarantine series is over as the world begins to slowly find what is our new "normal," so we are BACK with diving into God's Word about topics we all face. Today we are talking about BREAKING CHAINS in your life. Of course, this can only be done by our great God, but will we get up and move on once these chains are broken? Thats up to us.
What are some signs that you may have a chain in your life? Chains do the following:
- Holds you down from getting up
- Holds you back from moving forward
- Leaves a scar
- Steals your freedom and shapes your identity
- Implies shame, guilt, and condemnation
- Creates resistance in your life
Dive with us into Acts 12 and 16 with two real life stories of chains being broken. In our lives, there will always be bondage seen in 1) ourselves and 2) in someone else's life. The answer? PRAYER! We see in both of the stories we are discussing today, that prayer and praise change EVERYTHING!
We don't know how, when, where our God is working, but we know He is working. There may be a wait, and there may even be a reason for the struggle, but IN CHRIST, we know that all things work together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His great plan (Romans 8:28). Praise God for that!
So, sisters, join us in learning what may be a chain in our life, or in the life of a friend, that needs breaking. Then, take action and pray! We are praying for you, and we are trusting that God is working among us to break through any strongholds in our lives so we can ultimately live victoriously in Him!
