CHOSEN GIRL FAM! How did we get here!? (we know, we know, GOD). Its SEASON FIVE of the podcast and we are so blessed, humbled, and so grateful to be here. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for walking with us. Thank you for listening! We love you guys and you will never know how grateful we both are for the gift of this platform to learn and grow in Him together! 

TODAY, we are starting this season with a BANG, chatting about the concept of "staying ready so we dont have to get ready!" YES, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY! 

Of course, in faith, this could mean a number of things: staying ready spiritually, in your faith, mentally, or even physically (disclaimer you'll hear: we are NOT talking diets, y'all. You should know us better than that! lol). For a great, biblically lived-out example, we are turning to the book of Daniel! 

Some other verses we will reference include:

• “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8
• “Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:13
• “The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.” 1 Peter 4:7
• "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." Hebrews 12:11

We hope and pray this episode impacts you just as much as it did us. There is such beauty that comes with knowing God, rather than just knowing of God. There is such blessing and peace that comes from making God your life, not just an "add on."
